Ingredients:
carrot - 1 cup
fresh coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
Urad dal - 1 tbsp
Channadal - 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
red chillis - 1 or 2(or acc to ur spice level)
jaggery - 1 tbsp
salt - to taste
lemon juice - 1tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
For the tempering:
Oil - 1 tsp
mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
curry leaves - a few
Method:
1.Heat 1/2 tbsp Oil in a Pan, add cumin seeds,Channa dal, Urad dal,red chillis, fry until dals turn slightly brown.Then add coriander leaves and fry for a minute and transfer it to plate and let it cool.
2.Heat 1/2 tbsp of oil in same pan, add carrot pieces and sault for 5 minutes. Let it cool.
3.In a blender,add the roasted ingredients along with jaggery,lemon juice,salt and grind without adding any water.
4.Do the tempering and add to the ground chutney.
