Ingredients
Carrots - 3 ( wash,peel & grate)
turmeric powder - a pinch
Hing - a pinch (optional)
salt,chilli powder - as per taste
Dry or fresh grated coconut - 2 tsps
chopped coriander leaves - for garnish
Seasoning
oil - 3 tsps
jeera - 1/2 tsp
mustards 1/2 tsp
chana dal - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Dry red chilli - 1 (cut into half)
curry leaves - a few
Method
1.Heat oil, add seasoning,green chillis and fry for few mins.
2.Add Hing,turmeric powder and stir it once.
2.Now add grated carrot,salt and mix well,cover and cook until carrot is soft.
3. Add chilli powder, mix, covered, cook for another 5 minutes.
4.Lastly add grated coconut and stir for few more mins.
5.Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
