Ingredients
Groundnuts - 1 cup
green chillis - 3 or 4 (as per your taste)
urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 1/4 tsp
sugar/Jaggery - a very little(optional)
Tamarind - a small piece
Salt - as per taste
Seasoning
mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Jeera - 1/4 tsp
Dry red chillis - 2(cut each into 2 pieces)
curry leaves - a few
oil - 1 tsp
Method
1. Heat oil in a pan,Roast the groundnuts,green chillis for few minutes.now add urad dal,jeera and fry until groundnuts become golden colour.Cool it.
2. now grind the roasted ingredients,tamrind,salt,sugar/jaggery with little water(frize water) and keep it aside.
3. now heat oil in a pan. Add the seasoning and when it crackle, remove from heat and pour it into the chutney.
4.Serve with idly,dosa,pongal.
