Ingredients
chopped tomatos - 2 (medium size)
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Coriander seeds - 1/4 tsp
Dry red chillis - 3 or 4 (as per taste)
Tamrind - a small piece
salt - as per taste
sugar/Jaggery - very little(optional)
Oil - for frying
Seasoning
mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Jeera - 1/4 tsp
Dry red chillis - 2(cut each into 2 pieces)
curry leaves - a few
oil - 1 tsp
Method
1. Heat oil in a pan,tomatos,jeera,coriander seend,dry red chillis and fry until onions and tomatos become tender.
2. Turn off heat and cool it.
3. Grind the roasted ingredients,tamrind,salt,sugar/jaggery without water and keep aside.
4. now Heat oil in pan,Add the seasoning and when it crackle,remove from heat and pour it into the chutney.
5. now your chutney is ready to serve with Dosa or Idly.
