Anapakayi Palu Kura

Ingredients
Bottle Gourd - 1 medium sized(peeled and chopped into medium cubes)
Green chillies - 2
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Milk – 1 small cup
Coriander leaves – for garnishing

Tadka/Popu
oil or ghee - 1 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Chana dal - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Red chillies - 1
Curry leaves - a few

Method
1.Heat ghee in a cooking vessel.
2.Add tadka/popu and fry for few seconds.
3.Add turmeric powder,bottle gourd pieces and salt.
4.Close the vessel and cook till the pieces become tender.
5.Add chilli powder and cook for few mins.
6.Add water and allow it to cook until the bottle gourd is fully cooked.
6.Lastly, on medium flame, slowly add the milk to the curry, till you get the desired curry consistency.Constantly stir otherwise the milk will curdle.
7.Turn off the heat and garnish with coriander leaves.
