Radish Moong Dal

Ingredients
Moong dal - 1 cup
water - 3 cups
Radish - 2 medium size(Peel,wash & diced)
Radish leaves - chopped finely
Green chillies - 3 to 4 (slit)
Chilly powder - 1 tsp
Haldi powder - 1\4 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Oil/ghee - 1/2 tsp

Tadka/Popu
Oil/ghee - 1 tsp
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Red chillis - 2
hing - a pinch
curry leaves - a few
Fresh grated coconut - 3 tsps

Method
1.Take a pressure cooker,throw in the dal,water,oil,Radish pieces along with chopped radish leaves,green chilli,haldi,salt,chilli powder and pressure cook for 3 whistle in medium heat and turn the flame to low,cook for 3 -4 mins.Turn off the flame and let the pressure comes out.

2.Meanwhile heat ghee in a small kadai,add tadka/popu and fry till nice aroma comes.Now add Grated coconut & stir it once and add this to the cooked dal.

3.Serve.
