Ingredients
Rice – 1/2 cup
Mung Dal – 1/2 cup
Veggies - 1 cup ( potatos,tomatos,carrot,green peas,etc)
Water – 5 cups
Salt – to taste
Turmeric Powder – ¼ tsp
grated ginger - 1 tsp
greenchillis - 1 (or to taste) finely chooped
funnel seeds - 1/2 tsp (optional)
Hing – a pinch
cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Ghee/oil - 2 tbsp
Method
1.Wash Rice and Dals with water well and keep it aside.
2.In a pressure cooker,Heat ghee,add cumin seeds,ginger,greenchilli,funnel seeds,hing,turmeric,veggies and sault for few minutes.
3.Add rice,water,Salt and pressure cook for 1 whistle and simmer for 5 minutes.
4.Garnish with coriander leaves.
