Ingredients:
Kanda - 100 gms(pealed,grated)
salt - to taste
turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
red chilli powder - 1 tsp
dhaniya powder - 1 tsp
tamrind - lemon sized
jaggery - small piece
fenugreek seeds - 1/2 tsp
coriander leaves - for garnishing
Oil - 4 tbsp
Tadka:
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
red chilli - 1 broken
curry leaves - a few
Method:
1.Heat Oil in a pan,add tadka and fry for 2 minutes.
2.Add fenugreek seeds,turmeric powder and fry a minute.
3.add grated kanda and fry for 5 minutes.
3.Add salt,red chilli powder,dhaniya powder and fry for few more mins.
4.Add tamrind water,jaggery and let it cook for 10 minutes.
5.Turn off and garnish with coriander leaves.
