Ingredients:
Kanda - 250 gms (pealed,cubed)
turmeric - 1/4 tsp
salt - to taste
tamrind - small lemon sized
red chilli powder - 1 tsp
dhaniya powder - 1 tsp
grated coconut - 2 tsps (optional)
coriander leaves - for garnishing
Oil - 4 tbsp
Tadka:
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
channadal - 1 tsp
red chilli - 2 broken
curry leaves - a few
Method:
1.Boil Kanda cubes in tamrind water by adding turmeric and salt for 5 minutes in high flame. Drain and keep it aside.
2.Heat Oil in a Pan, add tadka and fry for 2 minutes.
3.Add boiled kanda,salt,redchilli powder,dhaniya powder,mix and cover and cook for few more minutes.
4.Add grated coconut and fry for 2 minutes.
5.Turn off and garnish with coriander leaves
