Samiya/Vermicelli Payasam


Ingredients
Samiya/Vermicelli - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Milk - 1/2 lr
Cardamom pods - 3
Ghee - for frying
Dry fruits for garnish

Method
1.Heat ghee in a kadai,fry dry fruits,tranfer it to another plate.

2.now heat ghee in same kadai and fry the vermicelli till light brown and keep it aside.

3.In the meanwhile,boil the milk.Add the vermicelli to the boiling milk and cover it. Keep stirring occasionally.

4.Once the vermicelli becomes soft , add sugar and continue to stir.

5.add cardamom Powder and Mix well for about two minutes.

6.Turn off heat and garnish with fried dryfruits.

7.Your payasam is now ready and can be served hot or chilled.
