Mango Coconut Chutney
Ingredients
Raw mango pieces - 1 cup(peeled & grated)
coconut pieces - 1 cup
green chillies - 2 (adjust according to spice level)
Jeera - 1 tsp
urad dal - 1 tsp
chana dal - 1 tsp
oil - 4 tsp
turmeric powder - a pinch
salt - as per to taste
seasoning
oil - 2 tsp
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
red chillis - 2
hing - a pinch
curry leaves - a few
Method
1.Heat oil in a kadai,add coconut pieces,raw mango pieces,green chillis,jeera and fry till the raw smell goes.cool the ingredients.
2.In a blender,add the fried ingredients,salt,tumeric and grind into a thick paste by adding litte water.
3.Now heat oil in a kadai,add all the seasoning ,when mustard starts to splutter ,add this seasoning to grinded paste and mix well.
4.Mango coconut chutney is ready....it tastes good with rice and rotis.
