Potato Besan Curry


Ingredients
Potato - 1(peeled and chopped into small cubes)
Cabbage - 1/2 cup (chopped into thin vertical pieces)
green chillis - 3
grated ginger - 1 tsp
salt - as per taste
turmeric - a pinch
coriander leaves - for garnishing
besan powder - 2 tsps
water - 2 cups
Oil - 3 tsps

Seasoning
mustard seeds - 1 tsp
jeera - 1 tsp
chana dal - 1 tsp
urad dal - 1 tsp
red chillis - 2
curry leaves - a few

Method
1.Heat oil in a kadai,add seasoning,when they start spluter,green chillis,ginger,Cabbage,Potato pieces and fry till the raw smell of potato goes.

2.Add turmeric,salt and fry for few mins.

3.Add enough water in it,adjust the salt,mix,covered and cook till potato becomes soft.

4.Mix besan with little water without any lumps and add this into the boiling curry.cook for few mins.

5.Turn off heat and garnish with chopped coriander.

This curry goes well with roti,chapati or puri.
