Dalia coriander chutney
Ingredients
Roasted chana dal (dalia) - 1 cup
Coriander leaves - 1 fistful(or as per ur taste)
Tamarind - A pinch
Green chillies - 2-3 nos.(as per ur spice level)
Salt - as per taste
Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
Water - as required for grinding
For Tempering
Mustard - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
redchilli - 1
Curry leaves - 1 spring
Oil - 2 tsp
Method
1.Clean and wash coriander leaves,remove the thick stems and keep aside.
2.Heat kadai and add the coriander leaves and saute for few mins in low flame only till the leaves gets reduced in volume without changing the colour.
3.In a blender,add all the above ingredients along with the sauted leaves.First grind with out water and then add litte water and grind to a smooth paste.
4.Transfer it to a bowl,do the tempering and pour onto the bowl.
5.Serve with hot Idlies or dosas!
