Ingredients
Oats – 3 cups
Split Urad dal – 1 cup
Raw Rice – 1 cup
Fenugreek seeds – ¼tsp
Salt – to taste
Water – 4 cups(1½ cups for grinding rice and urad dal,2½ cups for soaking Oats)
Method
1.Wash and soak rice,urad dal,fenugreek seeds in water for 6-8 hrs.
2.Soak the oats in 2½ cups water for just 1 hour before grinding.
3.Drain water from rice and urad dal.
4.Grind rice and urad dal by adding 1 ½ cups of water and transfer to a tall bowl.
5.Now grind soaked oats and pour into the ground batter.
6.Allow it to ferment for 8 hrs.(not more than that)
7.Before making dosa add salt and mix well.
8.Heat tawa/non-stick pan and start making dosa.
9.Drip few drops of oil on the dosa.when done,flip and cook for 1/2 a minute or so.
10.Healthy Oats Dosa is ready...Offer to Lord with love and devotion.
