Dondakayi Fry

Ingredients
Dondakayalu/Ivy Gourds - 250 gms(wash,nip the tip and tail ends,slice them into thin circles)
Turmeric powder - a pinch
salt,chilli powder - as per taste
Dry or fresh grated coconut - 2 tsps
chopped coriander leaves - for garnish

Seasoning
oil - 4 tsps
jeera - 1/2 tsp
mustards - 1/2 tsp
red chillis - 2
curry leaves - a few

Method
1. Heat oil,Add seasoning and let them pop.

2. Add turmeric powder and Dondakayi pieces,salt and mix, covered, stirring, cook till the pieces becomes tender.

3. Add chilli powder, mix, covered, cook for another 5 minutes in a medium flame.

4. Lastly add grated coconut and stir for few mins.

5. Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
