Niluva Dondakayi Kura

Ingredients
Dondakayalu/Ivy Gourds - 250 gms(wash,nip the tip and tail ends,slice them into thin vertical pieces)
Turmeric powder - a pinch
salt,chilli powder - as per taste
Curd – 2 tsps
chopped coriander leaves - for garnish
Cloves - 2
Cardomom – 2
cinnamon stick – 1 small piece
oil - 2 tsps


Method
1.Boil Dondakayi pieces and keep it aside.
2. Heat oil in a kadai,add Cloves,cardomomm,cinnamon stick and fry for 2 mins.

2. Add turmeric powder and boiled Dondakayi pieces,salt and mix, covered, stirring, cook till the pieces becomes tender.

3. Add chilli powder, mix, covered, cook for another 5 minutes in a medium flame.

4. Lastly add curd and stir for 5 few mins.

5. Turn off the heat and garnish with chopped coriander leaves
