Gutti Dondakayi Kura

Ingredients
Dondakayalu/Ivy Gourds - 1/4 kg(wash,nip the tip & tail ends,make a + slit length wise)
Turmeric powder - a pinch
salt,chilli powder - as per taste

For masala
Curry Powder – 4 tsps
Tamrind – a small piece
Saseme powder – 1 tsp (optional)
Grind all the ingredients with little water and make paste.


Method
1.Heat oil in a Pressure Cooker,Add Dondakayalu,salt,turmeric powder,curry leaves and fry till the pieces become slightly tender.

2.Add masala paste and mix well and fry for few mins.

3.Now add some water and mix,cover with lid and pressure cook for 2 whistle.

4.After pressure completely goes out,remove the lid and garnish with coriander leaves.
